Different teams use different methods of task assignment. One team Project Manager or Scrum Master might make assignments with the cooperation of the developer. In another team, developers might be free to select any unassigned task to work on. TargetProcess supports both methods. Developers can subscribe to a story, task or bug from many places: User Stories list, Bugs list, Progress table and so on.

For example, to subscribe to a User Story he may

  1. Go to the User Stories list
  2. Filter User Stories for the current iteration and without assignments
  3. Select himself for the User Story
