TP.Tray v.2 (BETA) Released


We’ve released new TP.Tray in BETA today. Feel free to download (1 Mb) and use it! Any feedback is welcome.

Note: Tp.Tray is a Windows-only application, it allows you to quickly capture screenshots, edit them and post bugs in TargetProcess.

    The TP Tray is far more useful this way. Our only problem (as stated by others), is that it is only possible to submit bugs. We're not using bugs. Instead we're using user stories.

    The Userstory dropdownlist in the TP Tray is not very useful, because we're having 508 stories in the current project. It is also not possible to search for a specific userstory id or an existing bug by id.

    Is it an idea to integrate TP Tray with the popular screen capture tool SnagIt? http://www.techsmith.com/

    Is it an idea to use http handlers to integrate the targetprocess projectsite with the TP Tray. I.e. tptray://addattachment/generalid/2010. This could be a linkbutton next to all the places where the 'Attach a file' linkbutton is placed. When you click on the tptray://* linkbutton the TP Tray could respond and give the possibly to capture a new screenshot or upload an existing screenshot.

    Is there a particular reason that you only can add screenshots to bugs?
    I think I would be great if you could add it to other items, like requests, aswell.

    So far it works for bugs only.
