TargetProcess v.2.21.15 Released

The new Pop Email Integration Plugin announced recently is not making it to a new release so far, as we keep on working on some performance improvements.

TargetProcess v.2.21.15 is basically a bug-fix build.  We’ve also removed some rarely used functionality which does not bring much value to our customers, but burdens the UI and makes TargetProcess more complicated.

List of Features Removed

  • Test Case Library.  As a workaround you can create a new project and copy test cases there  for possible reuse
  • Solutions in  Help Desk area
  • Reports: User Stories Count by States, User Stories Progress, Bugs Count by State, Bugs Progress

    • Integration and API

    Documentation related to REST services can be found in TargetProcess Developers Portal
    REST: Custom Fields array should be always represented as JSON
    REST: Project Teams support:  ‘ProjectMembers’ property for ‘project’ resource added

    Other Fixed Bugs

    Idle timeout disabled. After a long idle time,  TargetProcess resumes quickly.
    Search not working for UTF-8

    TargetProcess on-demand accounts will be upgraded to v.2.21.15 next week-end.

      Hmmm, why remove something working? We had hundred of solutions!  Bad move.

      Solutions were extremely useful for having common answers to support requests, big shame to lose them, we will have to do some sort of wiki kludge. The nice thing about TP was its end to end support from requirements through production and into support. Not quite as nice now.

      Hi, Not sure to understand. Did you really removed the Feature functionality from target process (list that displays the features from the tab menu)?

      No, we didn't touch Features list, we just cancelled several functionalities (features) such as Solutions, Test Case Library, some reports.

      we used it (Bugs Count by State, Bugs Progress) as
      part of our offizial Quality progress report.( but they weren't very good
      (Legend different between the too views..)
      General, it would good to have an effective way to get flexible graphical reports in TP as integrated function of customreport.(~ Interface for a plugin for a standardtool with graphical function
      ~for example Excel without need of export import manual~) 

    • @9c038e53380bfc9aeb26dcc0e2bcfe3e:disqus Yes, you are right. In fact with new Mashups it will be possible to create custom graphical reports via REST API. I think this option will be fully functional in 2-3 months.
