    Olga,

    Dean Leffingwell’s book on Agile Architecture is nearing completion. He wants to use a post that you made to his blog (scalingsoftwareagility.wordpress.com). Specifically, the post is in reaction to product backlog, and you had said:

    “Lengthy backlog is not a disease. It shows that there’s lots of work waiting to be prioritized and worked on! This is all about prioritizing. Either customer or the team—they have to decide what to implement first. You can’t force release time with the single aim to make your backlog shorter. Backlog is a tool for work, not the absolute indicator of team’s agility or capability.”

    Do we have permission to use this in his book? Please let me know as soon as you can.
