Project Manager / What User Story/Task is Blocked?

An Impediment (or Block) is an obstacle that prevents User Story/Task/Bug completion. For example, you may have Impediments such as these:

• New server for performance testing will be purchased Jan-20, so we are unable to start testing till that date for now
• Teddy Bear left the company and complex user story "Patterns recognition algorithm" can't be implemented by any person on our team. This task needs highly specialized knowledge.

1. Add Impediment to a User Story. This User Story will be marked by a special symbol in all lists.



2. Click the icon to see all related impediments.



3. Go to the reports section to see the Impediments dynamic. You will be able to determine if there are more and more problems in your project or if things getting better.
