Top Manager / Person Allocation Requests

In medium and large software development departments, there is always a pool of requests for additional resources from Project managers. TargetProcess provides flexible way to handle and track these requests. In the People Requests area, you can:

1. Add a person request for a project or role/position
2. Change a request state
3. Discuss a request

In general, the person request workflow may look like this:

1. Project manager/SCRUM master submits request for Developer for Project XYZ
2. Top manager who is responsible for allocations sees the request
3. Top manager visits Allocations page and checks who can be allocated/re-allocated to Project XYZ
   • Top manager changes allocation for selected Developer and changes state of request to Allocated
   • or Top manager gets list of available candidates and posts a comment with the list
   • or Top manager declines the request and provides comments about reasons
