QA Engineer / Submit Bugs


QA Engineers works primarily with bugs, so TargetProcess provides several productivity tools for effective bug management.

Often QA Engineers submit bugs with screenshots attached. A manual bug submission process may look like this:

Old Method TargetProcess Tp.Tray Method
  1. Click Print Screen on the keyboard
  2. Start Paint or other drawing tool
  3. Create a new image
  4. Paste the screenshot from the clipboard
  5. Highlight something on the screenshot
  6. Save it
  7. Open a bug tracking tool
  8. Click Add Bug link
  9. Fill out several required fields
  10. Attach the screenshot
  11. Finally save the bug
  1. Press Ctrl+B and capture a screenshot
  2. Highlight the area of interest on the screenshot
  3. Click the Submit Bug button
  4. Fill out required fields
  5. Save the Bug
