Quick Search
Problem: It is hard to find required information with large data volumes.
Solution: Quick search for all important entities in project implemented. It includes search by User Stories, Features, Bugs, Test Cases and Messages. Search keyword highlighted in results.
Export To CSV
Problem: Sometimes advanced calculation or data export required.
Solution: Export To CSV action added to all major lists (Bugs, User Stories, Test Cases, Times).
Programs
Problem: We have dependant projects that performed by different teams, but need combined stats and backlog.
Solution: Programs areas has been introduced to address large projects needs. Each program may consist of several projects providing the following functionality:
- Create program, add projects on program
- View all projects statuses in program
- View ToDo for logged user for all projects in program
- View burn down chart and bugs progress chart for whole program
- Manage programs backlog
Expandable programs list enables easy navigation and quick overview of projects progress.
Program Dashboard provides all important data about whole program state and each project state as well.
Features
Problem: User Story is not enough for requirements management. We need something on the top of user Story.
Solution: Features area enables higher level requirements management. Each feature can have several user stories and spreads on several iterations.
Additional level of granularity makes requirements-to-plan process more flexible.
Features list
Feature by Status chart provides quick overview of features progress. It clearly shows how many features already completed, how many in progress and how many new unplanned features present.
Customizable Effort Units
Problem: In different cases different effort units required. For example, we want to estimate features in days, but tasks in hours.
Solution: Customizable Effort Units functionality allows to set effort units (Hour, day ,Week) for each entity.
MySQL support
Problem: SQL Server quite expensive and free MSDE is somewhat cumbersome.
Solution: MySQL is a leading open source RDBMS, so it is a natural choice for free MSDE replacement.
