- How do I attach an existing User Story to a Feature so that it appears under its User Stories tab? It is easy to add a new user story, but there is no lookup function for existing stories there.
- Please assign stories to features from stories end and not from features' end. You open a User Story, on the right side find Info panel. Click on Feature field: in the lookup you can select an existing feature. Done: now User Story is linked to a parent Feature and appears in its User Stories tab.
It is also possible to use Board view to attach stories to features. Set up a view showing User Stories as cards and Features as lanes (rows or columns). Focus on two lanes: "No Feature" lane and the lane of your target feature. Then assign a user story card to a feature lane within drag'n'drop.
The same way you can attach existing Uset Story to a Release or Iteration (Sprint) so that it appears under its User Stories tab.
These are existing limitations in Targetprocess tool. Hopefully we'll improve this behavior sooner or later.
