Value Streams Overview

Value Streams represent the series of steps that an organization uses to implement Solutions that provide a continuous flow of value to a customer. A SAFe Portfolio contains one or more Value Streams, each of which is dedicated to building and supporting a set of Solutions, which are the products, services, or systems delivered to the Customer, whether internal or external to the Enterprise.© Please read more details about Value Streams on SAFe website.

Solution Overview

The solution enables Value Streams, which are groups of Solution Trains or Agile Release Trains. It is designed to organize Solution Trains or Agile Release Trains into Development Value Streams to release value according to SAFe. It'll also be used to allocate Budgets in the upcoming solutions.

After installing the solution, you'll see a new folder in the left menu, Value Streams.

It has two views: the first one will be in use if you have Solution Trains in your organization and need to organize them into Value Streams.

The second view will be used if you don't have Solution Trains and need to organize Agile Release Trains into Value Streams.

On a Value Stream view, you can see what ARTs or STs are related to it and who is a responsible Value Stream Manager for this Value Stream.
