Iteration Generation for Team

Solution Overview

The solution allows to generate Team Iterations for a Team automatically.

How it works

After solution installation, the following fields will appear on a Team view:

• First Iteration Start Date - where you define starting from which Date you'd like Team Iterations to be generated for a Team
• Iteration Count - where you define how many future Iterations should always exist (they will be generated automatically to keep this number of Team Iterations in the future)
• Iteration Length - where you define the number of days in a Team Iteration (in calendar days)
• Generate Iterations - a button to trigger Team Iterations creation

To generate Team Iterations for a Team, fill the mentioned above fields and set Generate Iterations checkbox to true:

Team Iterations will be generated considering the information provided:

Further, the system will check if the future Team Iterations count corresponds to the Iteration Count value set for a Team and will trigger additional Team Iterations’ generation if needed.

Note 1: In case you'd like to change the number of future Team Iterations, just update the Iteration Count value and click Generate Iterations again.

Note 2: In case you'd like to change First Iteration Start Date or Iteration Length, please delete the created Team Iterations, update the values in the fields and click Generate Iterations again.
